Mvskoke 4-H: Ocmulgee Club
This club is a collaborative effort between OSU Extension and the College of the Muscogee Nation Extension Program, supported by the Federally Recognized Tribes Extension Program (FRTEP). It blends Muscogee (Creek) culture, language, and traditions with hands-on 4-H programming in project areas such as gardening, art, STEM, leadership, health, and more.
To be eligible to officially enroll in the Muscogee 4-H: Ocmulgee Club, youth must live in or attend school in Okmulgee County OR be currently enrolled in another club in Okmulgee County.
Our Broader Vision
The launch of this club marks the first step in a larger initiative to establish a sustainable, tribally grounded 4-H Youth Development Program through the College of the Muscogee Nation. Our long-term goal is to create a model that empowers Muscogee (Creek) youth through meaningful learning experiences that reflect their culture, strengthen identity, and provide pathways to leadership, higher education, and community engagement.
Through continued collaboration between OSU Extension and CMN Extension, we hope to grow this program into a lasting resource that serves youth, families, and tribal communities across the Muscogee Nation.
The 4-H Pledge
I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
my heart to greater loyalty,
my hands to larger service, and
my health to better living,
for my club, my community, my country and my world.
